Reward Offered for Stolen Radioactive Device May 13, 2005 A portable moisture-density gauge was stolen from a truck parked at the Residence Inn, Marriott on Fairforest Road in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The device contains two low-level radiation sources and is locked inside a large bright yellow plastic shipping case. The device poses a threat only if someone tampers with it. Earlier this year
